How to Play ‘Pitty Pat’ Card Game?

Now that you have set up the game, let us talk about how to play it-

Once the cards have been shuffled by the dealer, the dealer will deal each player five cards and put the remaining cards in the center with the top card flipped over. The remaining cards are the ‘stockpile’ and the flipped card will start the ‘discard pile’.The person sitting to the left of the dealer will start the game so that the game goes on in a clockwise direction.

Now the players will look at their cards to see if they have received any numerical pairs. If they have, set them aside. The players will try to get rid of the remaining cards. Or they will have to draw the same number from the deck to make a pair. They can choose the card from the discard pile or choose a facedown card from the stockpile depending on whether or not it makes a pair.

If the card in their hand matches the card on the top of the discard pile, they have to discard it. They can also discard a second card that might not be matching and put it in the discard pile as the next top card. If they do not have a matching card, they have to take a card from the stockpile and put it in the discard pile. If it matches their card, they can discard it with another in the discard pile.

If the card is selected from the facedown stockpile, the player will have to discard one of their own cards and put it in the discard pile. Each player will do this until they have gotten rid of all their cards. Whoever finishes their cards first wins the game.
